Skin care routine before and after exercise: Follow the steps below to keep your skin free of acne

The dermatologist explained that makeup during exercise is the main cause of acne on the face. The pores of the skin are blocked by cosmetics and sweat, causing it to rupture. Therefore, it is important to wipe off the makeup from the skin.
After using wipes to remove makeup, it is important to wash your face with a mild cleanser. Although wet wipes are indeed effective in removing makeup, you should wash your face to ensure that no residue will clog your skin’s pores.
Dr. Jaishree pointed out that exercise can cause you to sweat, which can lead to dehydration. Therefore, maintaining moisture is essential for healthy and transparent skin. So, don’t forget to moisturize your face after cleansing.
You should never skip sunscreen. If you do not want to use moisturizers, Dr. Jaishree recommends using sunscreens that contain moisturizers.
Although skin care before exercise is important, maintenance after exercise is equally important.
Dr. Jaishree said: “Before you touch your face, make sure you wash your hands because they contain bacteria and other microorganisms that have been in contact with fitness equipment.” To ensure that you do not spread the bacteria that may cause acne to your face, please wash your hands first.
After exercise, take a bath immediately. The main reason for this is that if the sweat is not washed off for a long time, it may cause fungal and bacterial infections. Therefore, it is essential to take a shower and put on clean clothes immediately after exercise.
Bathing can dry out and dehydrate the skin. To ensure that your skin stays hydrated, you must thoroughly moisturize your face and neck area.
