With the support of the New Jersey Veterans Chamber of Commerce, the American Red Cross is collecting the items needed to help them.

Children need diapers, formula milk powder, feeding bottles, pacifiers, baby wipes, footballs, toys, building blocks, new shoes, pencils and crayons, notebooks and school supplies.
The family needs water bottles, conservative female clothing, male clothing, winter jackets, new shoes, gloves, feminine hygiene products, wheelchairs, walkers, walking sticks, smartphones and female scarves.
The returning army needs coffee, water bottles, games, food donations, gift cards, sporting goods, electric massagers, stamps and envelopes, writing boards and pens, Air Pods, personal hygiene products and toiletries.
Donations can be made at the Hopewell Township Department of Public Works Building (located at 203 Washington Crossing – Pennington Road, the Titusville section of Hopewell Township). Donations are accepted from Monday to Friday from 7 am to 3 pm.
The mission committee of the First Presbyterian Church in Bodentown is collecting items for Afghan refugees at the McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst Joint Base.
Purchase items and ship them to the church office. Required items include bras, underwear, children’s clothing, shoes, baby onesies, disinfectant wipes, towels, antibacterial hand sanitizer, toiletries, clothes, shower shoes, flip-flops, baby wipes, feminine sanitary napkins, infant formula milk powder , Mobile phone chargers, children’s toys and Gatorade.

A road widening project is planned to start on Edinburgh Road (County Road 526) in West Windsor from the entrance of Mercer County Park to Old Trenton Road on September 7. If weather permits, the duration of the project is approximately three weeks.
During the construction period, the south carriageway of Edinburgh Road will be closed from 9 am to 3:30 pm from Monday to Friday.
Motorists will be instructed to use New Village Road and Old Trenton Road. However, local residents and municipal and emergency vehicles will be allowed to enter.
Within one day, the westbound Old Trenton Road from Edinburgh Road to Robbinsville Road will be closed to connect the new entrance to the existing entrance on Old Trenton Road.
This part of the work will be completed by using flag bearers to direct traffic. Normal traffic patterns will resume at all other times.

The Mercer County Park Commission naturalist will host a fun and informative nature tour on Lake Mercer pontoon boats every Wednesday throughout August.
The price for residents in the county is US$10 per adult, and US$8 per child and senior citizen. Out-of-county room rates are US$12 per person for adults and US$10 per person for children and seniors.
Tickets for the tour will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis at the Mercer County Park Pier starting at 8 am on the day of the tour.

Annie Gilman: The Still Point of the Rotating World will be exhibited from September 8th to December 17th. Gilman is an artist in Brooklyn, and his works are in a variety of forms, including large-scale paintings and multi-panel projects.
The gallery is usually open to the public during school hours during the school year. Currently, the gallery plans to open from October 4th.

In addition to open classes for adults, face-to-face and virtual classes are also provided for 3-year-old children. The course starts on September 9.
The Princeton Ballet School is the official school of the American Repertory Ballet, with studios in Princeton, Cranbury and New Brunswick Performing Arts Center.
Courses include ballet, role, modern dance, flamenco, toe and physical training, in addition to some performance opportunities throughout the year.

The first lunch will be held on September 9, when Rutgers University Distinguished Professor James Hughes will give a speech on the post-pandemic economy.
Because many chambers of commerce plans require a lot of advance planning, the organization will continue to use the virtual platform to host some events in the fall. The New Jersey Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Conference will have a virtual meeting on September 30, and the New Jersey Women’s Conference will use the virtual platform from October 28th to 29th.

The Little World Cafe on Nassau Street in Princeton will soon open its gallery to seven local artists who are engaged in the historical process of pinhole photography.
The exhibition is scheduled to open on September 9th and will last until October 5th, any day during business hours; or meet the artists at the reception on September 12th from noon to 3 pm.
Pinhole photography requires artists to use a basic lensless camera, usually homemade from recycled materials, to capture images through a pin-sized hole.
The Hopewell Theatre will reopen on September 10th and will host a grand reopening performance, starring international recording artist Danielia Cotton.
The event started with a pre-show party at 6:30 in the afternoon, followed by a Cotton’s celebration performance at 8 in the evening.
Cotton is a rock singer and songwriter who was born and raised in Hopewell. He returned to the theater to participate in this celebration concert with the national record guitarist Matt Baker and the founding member of The Spin Doctors drummer Aaron Comess.
The theater will reopen at full capacity with an eclectic lineup, while taking necessary precautions for the safety of customers, employees, and artists, including health measures such as HVAC upgrades.
Princeton Public Library and Princeton Shopping Center have joined forces to launch the Summer Night series.
