Kennewick, Washington — The Tri-City Soul Patrol Motorcycle Club is hosting a school supply event for Vista Elementary School. Over 350 personal items have been donated, but they still need your help to collect more supplies.
“Whenever students can’t afford the cost of school supplies, it will put pressure on teachers. They need to find out how they will make it suitable for the classroom.” Delarm) said. The Three Cities Soul Patrol Department.
Vista Elementary School is a local school with many low-income families, which is why the Soul Patrol chose them to accept donations this year. The Soul Patrol team hopes that the scale of future activities can support multiple schools.
However, several types of consumables are missing. Mainly supplies that were not donated to teachers. You need things like dry erase markers, hand sanitizer, and facial tissues.
Other missing items are colored markings, which are often higher-cost items that children and their families are unlikely to be able to afford in low-income households. In addition, baby wipes are also needed. These are substitutes for other types of disinfectant wipes and are not allowed for young children to use in school.
Donations can be made at the Harley-Davidson dealership in Rattlesnake Mountain at 3305 West 19th Avenue, Kennewick. They are open every day from 9 am to 6 pm, and until the 26th, the Soul Patrol will load supplies on their motorcycles and transport them to Vista Elementary School.
